Support children born by COVID-infected mothers
(LĐXH)- Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Children, has signed Decision No. 1013/QD-LDTBXH on support children who were born between April 27, 2021 and December 31, 2021 by pregnant mothers infected with COVID-19.
At the same time, support 2 million VND per child orphaned parents and disadvantaged children who lost their father or mother due to the COVID-19 pandemic during this period.
The support amount is taken from the Vietnam Children's Fund.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs requests the People's Committees of centrally-run provinces and cities to direct relevant local agencies to strictly implement the regulations on ensuring the safety of children during COVID-19- pandemic.
At the same time, children infected with COVID-19 should be given priority care at medical facilities.
The fourth outbreak of COVID-19 in our country has been seriously affecting the socio-economic development and people's health, including children and pregnant women.
According to local statistics, as of August 31, there were 11,822 F0 children and 27,334 F1 children./.
