More than 20.8 trillion VND to pay for new pensions and social insurance benefits
(LĐXH)- From August 14, Vietnam Social Insurance (VSS) will pay pensions and social insurance benefits at new rates. More than 3.3 million people are entitled to this new policy, with a total cost of about 20.8 trillion VND.
Right on the morning of August 14, the entire social insurance industry has basically completed the payment for 100% of beneficiaries (equivalent to more than 1.24 million people) registered to receive pensions and social insurance benefits via ATM card with a total amount of more than 8,801 billion VND.
From September 2023 onwards, the VSS will pay pensions and monthly allowances according to the routine schedule in July 2023.
The VSS is coordinating with the Vietnam Post to pay pensions and social insurance benefits via bank accounts and in cash./.
