“You are not alone – we are here to support you”
(LĐXH)- That is the message from 23 leaders of United Nations agencies, Ambassadors, heads of representatives of domestic and international organizations, Vietnam Women's Union, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs... to victims of violence on the International Day to End Violence against women and children, November 25.
In Vietnam, nearly 63% of ever-married women have experienced at least one form of violence by a husband/partner at some point in their life.
This issue is becoming more urgent than ever as the COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbates domestic violence.
Ending violence against women should be a priority for every man and woman, government and company.
Together, we can work towards a world where both men and women, and boys and girls, and others can live with dignity.
