Labour recruitment demand will increase in early 2023
(LĐXH)- It is forecasted that in the first and second quarter of 2023, the demand for labor recruitment in some areas may increase from 350,000 to 400,000 workers.
Forecasting about the situation of labour and employment in early 2023, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs said that the socio-economic situation will continue to maintained and developed, and production and business activities of enterprises will soon become stable again.
Accordingly, the labour market situation is expected to have positive movements, continue to return to the recovery momentum, and the recruitment demand of enterprises will continue to increase.
The population size of Vietnam in 2023 is estimated at 100 million people. Therefore, with a golden population structure of about 56 million people participating in the labour market, this is considered a driving force for economic development in the coming years.
According to reports of 63 provinces and cities, the recruitment demand in enterprises in the last months of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 is about 377.7 thousand people (much higher than the number of job losses in in recent times).
According to MoLISA, the important issue is that businesses must have effective measures to retain and attract employees. In particular, they must train and retrain the workforce, especially high-quality, highly skilled people to meet the increasing requirements of the business./.
